Black Hills Homes

We are a full service and real estate can development company founded in 2002 representing both buyers and sellers. We’ve built approximately 200 homes and townhomes in the Spearfish/Whitewood/Belle Fourche area and have a variety of floor plans. I also have a number of vacation rental homes up Higgins Gulch (see below) and 2 motels, both short and long term. Plans are to put in 2 pickleball courts at the Lodge in Spearfish in the summer of 2024. Also working on plans to open up a steak restaurant up Spearfish Canyon this summer. Look for opening dates for Chomping at the Bit. Along with the pickleball courts we are working on plans to open People’s Pizza which we will serve regular pizza as well as our dessert crust pizza at the Lodge as well as at our downtown location at the Corner Cafe. Another great food option is the Aladdin Cowboy and Cafe in Aladdin Wyoming on your way to Devils Tower.

Meadows of Higgins Gulch, Spearfish

The Meadows of Higgins Gulch is in an area of unsurpassed beauty only minutes from downtown Spearfish. I’m am sold out regarding lots but I have kept 4 lots and built vacation rental homes, cabins, and a tree house with plans to build 2 Pacific Domes on 2 of the mountain tops. The Meadows are an outdoor paradise for hikers, joggers, bikers, horseback riders or an evening stroll up the country road. The 20 acre mountain borders 1.2 million acres of Forest Service or it can be assessed 1/2 mile up the road. The Crow Peak trailhead, excellent hiking is 2 miles up the road and Iron Creek Lake, a safe, fun place for the kids is 10 miles up the road. There is a general store with paddleboards and food and a beach as well as great fishing and hiking, biking on the deer trails up to the mountain tops.

The pictures are views of some of the rentals. The waterfall house has a natural spring and waterfall. For more information text or email me and I will send you the rental links for more information.
